1929-1961 Chevrolet Illustrated Parts Book

This download includes three parts books with original part numbers and illustrations for early Chevys.

It includes the 1929-1935 Chassis parts book for mechanical parts, the 1929-1935 Body parts book, and the 1929-1942 master parts book with both mechanical and body parts.

The Chevy dealer would have used these books to order parts for the engine, clutch, oil system, cooling system, electrical, carburetor, fuel pump, transmission, brakes, axles, universal joints, steering, shock absorbers, springs, bumpers, sheet metal, and body parts. You find exploded view illustrations, group & part numbers, and each part's applicable year.

There are even numerical lists of the numbers so that if you already have a part, you can identify which vehicle the part fits. You can use this download to help you find parts today because most parts dealers still use Chevy's original part numbers to keep track of their parts.

You can also identify if the parts you are buying are original and complete; if you're missing parts, you can use the download to see what you should have. If the same part number is used for more than one year, you can also find out interchange between the different years and models covered in the download.

This download covers all 1929-42 Chevy Cars & Trucks. It includes all car parts. For trucks, it includes all mechanical parts, but truck body parts for 1936-1942 only.
